SALMON DINNER Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium Doors open 6:00 PM, meal served at 7:00 PM Admission is $75.00/person Kick off the 38th annual Kelly Ford Exploits Valley Salmon Festival with a delicious five-course Salmon Dinner prepared by Chef John Higgins, along with entertainment by Mike Snelgrove and Justin Poirier. Tickets: https://ci.ovationtix.com/36806/production/1203357 FRIDAY, JULY 12, 2024 GRAND FALLS HOUSE GARDEN PARTY Grand Falls House (67 Lincoln Road) Two sessions: 10:30 AM, and 1:30 PM Admission is FREE (tickets required/limited tickets available) Join us for this heritage event that will share our local history with the public at a Garden Party to be held at the Grand Falls House. A limited tour of the House will be available for ticket holders. This event is a collaboration between the Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society and The Grand Falls House Foundation. STADIUM CONCERT Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium 8:00-10:30 PM (Doors open at 7:00 PM) Admission is FREE The Masterless Men with openers Karla Pilgrim and Jackie Sullivan will provide a night of entertainment at the Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium. Cash bar available on-site. Calibre Mining will be on-site accepting goodwill offerings and donations of non-perishable food items. Collected funds and food will be shared between The Grand Falls-Windsor-Bishop’s Falls Community Food Bank, the Grand Falls-Windsor Community Kitchen, and the Salvation Army Food Bank. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Salmon Dinner event taking place at the stadium the night before the concert, anyone with an airborne seafood allergy may be adversely affected. FAMILY ADVENTURE DAY Gorge Park 2:00-4:00 PM Admission is FREE Featuring live entertainment from Karla Pilgrim and Jackie Sullivan in the Gazebo, a scavenger hunt, bouncy castles, food vendors, and free canoeing/kayaking rentals. Also, enjoy a fantastic Salmon Fest Adventure Day-only zipline offer from Exploits Extreme Ziplines, who are offering a "Book three persons and get the 4th person free" deal! Following the food event on Saturday evening, there will be a dance featuring live entertainment from Bic and the Ballpoints with local band Crows and Dimes as opener. GOLF TOURNAMENT Grand Falls Golf Club 8:00 AM $20.00/team One day, 18 holes. 2-Person Best Ball. Fee is $20/team. Open to male and female golfers. There will be prizes for the top low-net and the top low-gross scores. For more information, call 709-489-7631. Registration will take place at 8:00 AM on the day of the tournament. CULTURAL EVENT AND LUMBERJACK BREAKFAST Gorge Park Cultural Event at 10:00 AM, Breakfast at 11:00 AM Admission is FREE (Registration required for breakfast - see below) Please participate with us in an Indigenous-led cultural event and land acknowledgement at Gorge Park. A local drum circle will be featured. Following the cultural event, a free Lumberjack pancake breakfast at Gorge Park will be served. Live entertainment provided in the Gorge Park gazebo. The Lumberjack Breakfast is sponsored by the Exploits Community Centre. Breakfast registration will start on Thursday, June 20th at 1:00 pm. Call 709-489-0450 to register. INTERPRETIVE WALK Corduroy Brook Trail 12:00–1:00 PM Admission is FREE Get moving while learning on an interpretive nature walk along the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail. PUB CRAWL (*SOLD OUT*) Multiple Bar Venues 5:00-11:30 PM Admission is $65.00/person, tax and surcharge included 19+ event One of our most popular events is back for another year! Featuring live entertainment at 5 local pubs. Participants will travel by bus to each pub location and can return to the Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium at the end of the night. MONDAY, JULY 15, 2024 GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR FAMILY DAY Church Road Park 1:00-4:00 PM Admission is FREE Come out for games of chance with prizes, free horse rides, bouncy castles, free snacks and water, and live entertainment by local talents The Rogue Notes and Rum Ragged.
