THE CODFATHER NIGHT Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium Doors open 6:00 PM, event begins at 7:00 PM Admission is $35.00/person + tax & surcharge Kick off this year's Festival with a delicious Codfish Supper, prepared by Chef Roary MacPherson, Chef John Higgins, Chef Rob Liberty, and Chef Al Milley, along with entertainment by the Jesse Hackett and The Jesse Hackett Band. Free refreshments will be provided. This is a Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society event. STADIUM CONCERT Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium 9:00 PM-2:00 AM (Doors open at 8:00 PM) FREE Admission 19+ Event Landlocked (9:00 PM), Shanneyganock (10:15 PM), and Bic and the Ballpoints (12:00 AM) will provide a night of entertainment at the Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium. Cash bar available on-site. Equinox Gold Corp will be on site accepting goodwill offerings and donations of non-perishable food items. Collected funds and food will be shared between The Grand Falls-Windsor-Bishop’s Falls Community Food Bank, the Grand Falls-Windsor Community Kitchen, and the Salvation Army Food Bank. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Codfather Night event taking place at the stadium the night before the concert, anyone with an airborne seafood allergy may be adversely affected. SATURDAY, JULY 12, 2025 GORDON PINSENT STATUE UNVEILING High Street 1:00-4:00 PM FREE Admission Celebrate the late Gordon Pinsent's birthday with us by unveiling the town's newest statue - a tribute to the brilliant actor who hailed from Grand Falls-Windsor. Music provided by Murray Drive (1:00 PM) and The Irish Descendants (2:00 PM). High Street will be closed to traffic between 12:00-4:00 PM. BABAR FAMILY FUN AFTERNOON Gorge Park 1:00-4:00 PM FREE Admission Sponsored by the Exploits Community Centre Join us for an afternoon of outdoor fun, featuring bouncy castles, a scavenger hunt, and live music in the gazebo! Music by Matthew Hornell (1:00 PM), Murray Drive (2:00 PM), and Rogue Notes (3:00 PM). Please note: Local mascots will be on site from 1:00-2:00 PM. THE ROWDYMAN PUB CRAWL Multiple Bar Venues 4:00 PM-12:00 AM Admission is $75.00/person, tax and surcharge included 19+ event One of our most popular events is back for another year! Featuring live entertainment at 5 local pubs. Participants will meet at the Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium at 4:00 PM to sign up for a bus, then will be transported to each pub location, ending at Grand Rodeo. Church Road will be closed to traffic from 11:30 AM-4:30 PM. Food Bank donations will be collected by Equinox Gold Corp. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be held at Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium.
